What is the
best material and color for outdoor use? |
| A: |
Low
density polyethylene material in the color black would work best for outdoor
applications. This color offers resistance to UV rays as it acts as a natural
UV stabilizer with 2% carbon-loading. Please request assistance from our
Technical Sales department for this type of application because there may
be other options based on climate. |

What materials are available? |

Caplugs
are available in low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, polypropylene,
flex temp, vinyl, Flex500, paper, silicone rubber, aluminum, conductive
and static dissipative materials. Not all Caplugs shapes are available in
each material; consult your catalog to find out which materials are available
for the cap or plug you are interested in. |

What is the range of heat that Caplugs can withstand? |

Low
density polyethylene is rated up to 150oF; Aluminum is rated
up to 650oF. Caplugs offers several materials in between these
ratings. Contact our Technical Sales Department for more detailed information. |

What is your P.O. minimum order? |

Our
stock parts come in two different sizes; our standard pack with larger quantities
or our mini pak which offers small quantities to those who don't need thousands
of pieces. A few select series are also available in micro paks. We will ship and invoice for a
single carton or mini pak, but micro paks have a 2 micro pak minimum order requirement. |

I purchase quantities smaller than the mini pak that you offer? |

We offer a few select series available
in micro pak quantities and we
have a number of distributors to help you out with purchasing quantities
that are smaller than our mini pak. |

Can I return these products if they do not fit? |

We
always recommend trying free samples if you are not sure which part will
work best for your application. Standard cartons can be returned but are
subject to a restocking charge. Mini Paks and Micro Paks may not be returned. Please note,
that parts cannot be returned without a Return Authorization Number issued by our Customer Service Department. |
